+Start cooking 2 hours ahead of dinner.
+
+# prepare chicken
+
+ingredients
+
+- one whole chicken, raw
+- salt and black pepper
+- 2 cloves garlic
+- 1 yellow onion, chopped
+- bay leaf
+
+directions
+
+- Place ingredients in pot.
+- Add water until just covering chicken.
+- Boil until tender, about 90 minutes.
+- Remove chicken, bay leaf.
+- Reserve broth.
+
+Make the egg noodles while the chicken cooking.

+
+ingredients
+
+- 2 cups flour
+- 3 egg yolk
+- 1 full egg
+- 2 teaspoon salt
+- water
+
+directions
+
+- Add eggs, salt to flour, mix.
+- Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, enough to form into ball.
+- Should need quarter to half cup water total.
+- Kneed dough ten minutes, until elastic.
+- Let dough rest ten minutes.
+- Divide into four parts, thin, cut into strips.

+- 4 carrots chopped
+- 1 yellow onion, chopped
+- celery chopped
+- thyme
+- rosemary
+- fresh parsley
+- salt
+- pepper
+

+- Saute onion.
+- Add broth, carrots, celery, thyme, rosemary.
+- Bring to light boil.
+- Cook five minutes.
+- Add egg noodles.
+- Cook five minutes.
+- Add chicken meat and fresh parsley.
+- Add salt and pepper to taste.
